We are doing fine at the Holodnick house in Grand Rapids, MI. We want to thank you, our parents, family and friends for supporting us over the years. Life’s journey takes us down "many-a-path", not always marked or mapped for us. Sometimes we fool ourselves by thinking we know where we are going. We are just happy to be here writing to you’all.

Stefan is on the home stretch in graduating from Grand Valley State University.

He is now 22 years old, has his own car and enjoys his independence. Last summer he lived in Ann Arbor with his Uncle Steve and Aunt Cherie and worked with Uncle Steve’s business, Matrix Environmental.

Karl is now a sophomore in the engineering program at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Last summer he was lucky to get an internship at Cascade Engineering in Grand Rapids. He worked hard, really enjoyed the experience and it looks like engineering is the direction he wants to go.

With the two older boys away to college, the youngest is stuck with the old folks. Peter played Varsity lacrosse last spring and his team did very well considering that they moved their team up to the top level. We made the semi-finals at State. School is not his favorite subject. Outdoor adventure and camping are his loves, and has a long list of friends and activities.

Nancy is now working full-time. She works as secretary, and continues in her technology position in the two computer labs at Breton Downs Elementary. She feels she has the best of two worlds. Still getting to see all the students in the labs and now working in the office where she greets parents and visitors.

This is Sid’s second year working for Muskegon Heights Public Schools, as technology director. The district has moved from computer labs 10 years old to the most sophisticated data and voice networks available. Interactive video is next. Always a new toy to setup and play with.
